Belated 100th Post Contest!

EDIT: I have decided to change it so you can pick TWO books out of the pile of books I'm offering if you give a shout-out on your blog, facebook, or whatever, just send me a link.

So I just realized I reached my 100th post, yesterday I think, and I didn't even realize it until now! So I figured, why not have a contest? Great idea, right? So here's the details.

All you have to do is comment on this post with your email address, I will try to confirm it with you. I would also like it if you could tell me your favorite book and your favorite author, for recommendation reasons, I'm running out of books to read.

The contest will run about two in a half weeks. The deadline is Friday, September 5th at midnight EST. I can only ship in the US, sorry!

Now for the prize. I have six books on my bookshelf in very good condition that I doubt I will reread. So you will have a chance for winning your choice of one of those. Some of the books are ARC versions also. The books are:
  • ARC Version-Chloe Doe by Suzanne Phillips
  • I Heart You, You Haunt Me by Lisa Schroeder
  • Such a Pretty Girl by Laura Wiess
  • ARC-The Big Game of Everything by Chris Lynch
  • ARC-Jet Set by Carrie Karasyov and Jill Kargman
  • Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist by Rachel Cohn and David Levithan
So you will be able to chose which of these books you want.

Comment on the review for the books and you get another entry.
Announce it on your blog, facebook, whatever, another entry for each just give me the link.
Make a banner saying Reading Keeps You Sane and my url, and paste it on your blog, get five extra entries.

So that's about it.

~Kelsey

  7. If you haven't read the Violet series by Melissa Walker then you should definitely read those. They're fabulous. But if you have, then I'd recommend either Two Way Street by Lauren Barnholdt or Cruel Summer by Alyson Noel. They were my two favorites out of all the books that I've read this summer.

  31. Hello!

Let's see, my email is MrsRonWeasley87@aol.com.

Recommendation? I can't say a favorite author or book because honestly there are far too many to choose. A lot of the ones mentioned already I would second. However to throw a less recent one at ya - try "The Woman in White" from Wilkie Collins. You don't have to love classics or anything to adore this one. Suspense! Romance! Insane plot! Awesome! :)

    Thanks for the contest!

And check out my blog, Bibliophile Support Group, if you're interested! :)

The Book of Luke by Jenny O'Connell is really good (I'm going to really try to get a review of it up soon)...so is Peeps by Scott Westerfeld...the other books I've been reading haven't been YA so I'm kind of blanking right now...Principles of Love by Emily Franklin? It's a series :)

  44. This is my first time visiting your blog, so I am not sure what you have read other than the books I saw on your first page.

I love Janet Evanovich's Stephanie Plum series. This is one of the few authors that I actually laugh out loud while I am reading it. She has a number theme going...starting with One for the Money and ending with the most recent, Fearless Fourteen.
