So I just realized I reached my 100th post, yesterday I think, and I didn't even realize it until now! So I figured, why not have a contest? Great idea, right? So here's the details.
All you have to do is comment on this post with your email address, I will try to confirm it with you. I would also like it if you could tell me your favorite book and your favorite author, for recommendation reasons, I'm running out of books to read.
The contest will run about two in a half weeks. The deadline is Friday, September 5th at midnight EST. I can only ship in the US, sorry!
Now for the prize. I have six books on my bookshelf in very good condition that I doubt I will reread. So you will have a chance for winning your choice of one of those. Some of the books are ARC versions also. The books are:
- ARC Version-Chloe Doe by Suzanne Phillips
- I Heart You, You Haunt Me by Lisa Schroeder
- Such a Pretty Girl by Laura Wiess
- ARC-The Big Game of Everything by Chris Lynch
- ARC-Jet Set by Carrie Karasyov and Jill Kargman
- Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist by Rachel Cohn and David Levithan
Comment on the review for the books and you get another entry.
Announce it on your blog, facebook, whatever, another entry for each just give me the link.
Make a banner saying Reading Keeps You Sane and my url, and paste it on your blog, get five extra entries.
So that's about it.
~Kelsey

But if you have, then I'd recommend either Two Way Street by Lauren Barnholdt or Cruel Summer by Alyson Noel. They were my two favorites out of all the books that I've read this summer.

ReplyDeleteI would like to enter this contest.
ReplyDeleteDoes the link banner thing count if I made a button for your site and put it on the main page of my website? I don't have a blog, well, I started one but haven't done anything with it in over a month. But I did link to your blog on my site: http://www.geocities.com/webpainter_one/
Oh, oops. I forgot to mention the book recommendation. I recommend The Gatekeepers series by Anthony Horowitz. It's one of my top favorites, and I read a lot of books.
ReplyDeleteHello!
ReplyDeleteLet's see, my email is MrsRonWeasley87@aol.com.
Recommendation? I can't say a favorite author or book because honestly there are far too many to choose. A lot of the ones mentioned already I would second. However to throw a less recent one at ya - try "The Woman in White" from Wilkie Collins. You don't have to love classics or anything to adore this one. Suspense! Romance! Insane plot! Awesome! :)
Thanks for the contest!
And check out my blog, Bibliophile Support Group, if you're interested! :)
Count me in for a chance to win. Book contests are so fun - thanks for hosting this one!
ReplyDeleteOne of my favorite books is The Book Thief by Zusak. Dean Koontz and Lisa Scottoline are two favorite authors.
Thanks for the contest, please enter me :) Melissa Walker and the Violet on the Runway series are my current favorite books! Definitely read the just-released Violet in Private!
ReplyDeleteHi! Awesome contest!

Books you should read...hmm... The Book of Luke by Jenny O'Connell is really good (I'm going to really try to get a review of it up soon)...so is Peeps by Scott Westerfeld...the other books I've been reading haven't been YA so I'm kind of blanking right now...Principles of Love by Emily Franklin? It's a series :)
ReplyDeleteand I posted about it here one my contest list, too :)

superseal13@comcast.net

ReplyDeleteMy favorite book is Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury. Amazing book. It's actually about book burning, if you're interested. If you've already read that, a recent book I've read was Freezing Point by Karen Dionne. That was also pretty awesome. It's an eco-science thriller.
ReplyDeleteI blogged about your contest with a banner here.
Thanks for hosting the contest and good luck keeping track of the entries. xD
booked@ymail.com
This is my first time visiting your blog, so I am not sure what you have read other than the books I saw on your first page.
ReplyDeleteI love Janet Evanovich's Stephanie Plum series. This is one of the few authors that I actually laugh out loud while I am reading it. She has a number theme going...starting with One for the Money and ending with the most recent, Fearless Fourteen.
Awesome contest!
ReplyDeleteI posted about it here http://blog.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=blog.view&friendID=18902716&blogID=429382313

I'm not sure if you've read them or not, but I recommend Thirteen Reasons Why by Jay Asher and Wish You Were Here by Catherine Clark. My favorite author right now is Scott Westerfeld.
