Anatomy of a Boyfriend by Daria Snadowsky

Before this all happened, the closest I'd ever come to getting physical with a guy was playing the board game Operation. Okay, so maybe that sounds pathetic, but it's not like there were any guys at my high school who I cared to share more than three words with, let alone my body.

Then I met Wes, a track star senior from across town. Maybe it was his soulful blue eyes, or maybe my hormones just started raging. Either way, I was hooked. And after a while, he was too. I couldn't believe how intense my feelings became, or the fact that I was seeing—and touching—parts of the body I'd only read about in my Gray's Anatomy textbook. You could say Wes and I experienced a lot of firsts together that spring. It was scary. It was fun. It was love.

And then came the fall.

This novel was a wow for me. I hadn't expected what it was. But I did like it. Dominique was an awesome character and I really liked her, I felt she could of been my friend. She's also very relate able. You know, the smart, good looking girl every school has. Wes was a very likable gut also. Overall the characters were awesome.

I really liked the story-line. It was very well paced and I thought it had a very nice opening to the book. I liked how the book came in four parts. It never led on and had the perfect amount in each scene.

The writing was fabulous. Daria Snadowsky is a wonderful writer. I look forward to her future books. This was a very well put together novel and I absolutely adored it. I would reread it again. If you liked Judy Blume's Forever then this is the perfect novel for you. Mature content.

Thanks so much Daria for sending me your fabulous book. I really loved it.
