A Suite Giveaway

So I'm having a giveaway. For three books. And if you can't tell from the title, the book will be Suite Scarlett by Maureen Johnson. The paperback edition.

Details:
  • Three winners.
  • One winner each will get a paperback copy of Suite Scarlett.
  • US only. Sorry international readers!
  • Contest will go from now until July 17th at midnight Pacific time.

    Great Questions - also easy. I usually prefer paperbacks because they (A) aren't as heavy and (B) usually fit better in my purse.

    I usually like reading hardcovers because they are harder to mess up, but it does get annoying having the cover on there so I usually just take it off until I'm done reading it. I'm very specific with the way I keep my books and I hate having to bend the cover on paperbacks because I feel terrible for doing so!

    I like paperbacks because they weigh less and I move a lot (lame, I know). However, if I really love a book I will buy a hardcover because they hold up for longer!

    it depends on the book for me. Certain books that i know I will read a lot and want to last I will get in hardback. Others I get in paperback

    I prefer paperback as they are easy to carry when traveling to and from work by bus. But gee, I also like hardback as they are easier to handle when sitting around reading and they just hold up longer. So 60% paperback and 40% hardback.

    I still like the feel of opening up a new hardcover book. I always take off the dustjacket while reading, to keep it nice!

    I like paperbacks better because I can fit more into my bag for family vacations, and because they are cheaper. I love the Suite Scarlett paperback cover as well!

    I prefer paperbacks, for some reason I see hardcovers as more "precious" and I treat them very gingerly. I get the paperback first and if I really like it I'll get a hardcover. Weird, I know!

    I'm definetely a paperback girl. I love that I can take them anywhere. I never worry that they'll be torn or wet. Paperbooks just have a this-should-be-worn-out feel. A good book should always be a little frayed, because a good book should see a lot of love.
