Just Thought I'd Share This:

Someone pointed this article out to me and I'd like to know your opinions on it. Read the article here.

  1. Saw that last night! Really high chance that someone is just trying to cash in on her success, very tiny chance it's true.
The truth is - there's very few new ideas under the sun. Every book, movie, or song sounds like another book, movie, or song. With a couple billion people on earth, someone somewhere is going to have the same idea.

  2. I think it's false. That writer that no one knows of is probably just trying to get some publicity.

  3. I think it's someone just trying to make money off the Twilight series. I think there are lots of shared ideas-what about all the vampire books that are out now or out before? What amazes me more is that two people could write horribly boring and stupid books-with awful named children!

  4. I've read the supposed "similarities," and though some parts do sound the same, once you include the context in which they were said and Breaking Dawn's back stories (Twilight, NM, Eclipse), it's not the same. This has been building since Twilight. Big deal if someone calls their wife/gf/etc. love. Tons of books have people call their love "love." We've known what a painful process turning into a vampire is basically since we met Edward and the Cullens. There are many more weak comparisons, but I'll spare you from hearing them because they are so unbelievable. I don't understand how anyone could take on Scott as a client. Let's hope Meyer gets the credit she deserves for writing such an amazing book and series. Also, it doesn't help that you can't find Scott's book anywhere except for an eBook under a different title on Google. Sorry for the rant, but I just can't believe how desperate someone is that they'd do this.
