Mini Interview!

I asked Carol to send me some interview questions, and that she did. Thanks Carol!

1.What do you like in a book reviewing blog?
I like long, thoughtful reviews. I like a unique and interesting layout. Nothing too bright or dark though. I like weekly features that include authors. And I definitely love contests, haha.

2. Interviewing authors or getting signed books?
Which one do you prefer? Ahh....as much as I love interviewing authors, getting signed books is so much better. So I'd have to go with getting signed books.

3. What would your ideal novel include (one that you'll read)?
Oh! great question! I think it would revolve around a 16-18 year old girl, who has family issues and is still learning about herself. But the main factor would be romance. I would want a guy in the book, nothing cliched, but I would want them to be a nice guy, a bit of an opposite to the girl, maybe...and they would meet by mistake, or get a job together, and wouldn't think anything of it but they would become friends and then have a relationship that is deep and sweet at the same time. Books that are pretty much like I described are Perfect You by Elizabeth Scott and a few Sarah Dessen books. That's probably why I like those books so much.

4. How cool am I?* :P
Um...well, your kind of scary, Carol. An account of the killing....right, Khy? No but, really, your awesome and 100% cool.

5. What are your top 20 songs?
Oh, I don't know. I'm not a huge music listener. I like music, but I don't keep track of it that much. I couldn't possible pick 20 songs, but I'll do my best. Not in any order:
  • The More Boys I Meet by Carrie Underwood
  • Crash by Gwen Stefani
  • Waiting on the World to Change by John Mayer
  • Hold On by KT Tunstall
  • Beautiful Disaster by Kelly Clarkson
  • If I Never See Your Face Again by Maroon 5 and Rihanna
  • How You Remind Me by Nickelback
  • Stop Crying Your Heart Out by Oasis
  • Who Knew by Pink
  • Snow (Hey Oh) by Red Hot Chili Peppers
  • Take a Bow by Rihanna
  • Up by Shania Twain
  • Everyday America by Sugarland
  • Stay by Sugarland
  • So Small by Carrie Underwood
  • Live Like You Were Dying by Tim McGraw
  • Stays in Mexico by Toby Keith
  • As Good As I Once Was by Toby Keith
  • American Soldier by Toby Keith
  • Bittersweet Symphony by Verve
*Obviously that's not the real question, here's the real one: Zombies or unicorns?
Haha...hmm. I think I'll go with Zombies...though I haven't read anything with Unicorns yet. But I believe that zombies are more paranormal and that unicorns are more fantasy. I don't like fantasy. I love paranormal. Zombies it is. But that's based on Zombie and Unicorn books, in real life, zombies all the way!
