Admit it . . .

. . . You'll probably pick up a copy.

What I'm talking about.

You know you're interested even a tad. I don't watch The Hills, never have. But aren't you just a little curious about it? I mean she's a young celebrity and she's writing a book that isn't a memoir. I think that's pretty cool. I want to know if she is even a good writer. I'm just curious.

Oh, and Yan? This is for you. :) Just a few more details . . .

  1. I don't think so.... I mean I know I indulge once in a while watching "The Hills" but really? I'm getting tired of seeing her try to promote herself.... not to be mean....

  2. Oh, heck no. Never seen the show, not gonna get close to the book.

  3. If I'm extremely bored then I might decide to pick up a copy, but I've seen the show so it's probably like reading the book and I can only handle so much scripted drama.

The cover is super adorable but it's sad that her name is like fifty times bigger than the actual title of the book.

  4. You're right, I'll probably end up reading it!

I thought they were supposed to be based on her life? So they are a little memoir-ish, right?

  5. She didn't actually write the book. There will be a co-writer (though probably uncredited) the same as there was one for Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie's books (not that I'm comparing the three women to each other). Most celebrity books like this (with some awesome exceptions like Carrie Fisher) were really primarily written by other people. The celebrity name on the cover is what makes it sell.
